Klas Nilsson @ Lund University

Klas Nilsson holds a master degree in mechanical engineering, a PhD in automatic control, and is an associate professor in computer science. Klas has been active in the industry – 7 years at ABB Robotics Products with control systems development – and at Lund University where he has been responsible for numerous successful research projects in robotics and software. Klas has a leading role in several EU robot projects, like SMErobot (www.smerobot.org) where he is the chairman of the science and technology advisory board. He is a past AdCom member, still being active in the Industrial Activities Board of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society
