Malaysian students are very eager to work on robotics and the basic facilities are available. There are some groups attending robotics game in the Asia but they lack experienced professors and research directions. IEEE-RAS can help and exploit this potential by providing support for some professors in the region to teach short courses there and establishing some collaborative research themes.
